I’ve had a few conversations recently that opened up new pathways of thought.
What I love about these types of conversations is that we can repeat this experience time and time again, continuously opening up journey’s ahead that we had never considered.

What is sticking with me at the moment is that we spend so much time and effort to keep on a path that we think is where we should be directing energy; whether it’s to make someone else happy or to complete an adventure we feel we must complete. The reality that I see opening up is that we have the option to choose our path, including each step (and misstep) and we get to decide where our journey leads to with each twist and turn.

I found myself recently reflecting, contemplating my next steps and what was going to fulfill me at this stage of my life. I watched a girlfriend commit to a new pathway for herself, setting out to create the most magical of path that will have her heart and soul happy and complete. I recognize the value of being of service to others and I see that as an opportunity to create a life of service in one way or another. Something that has always called to me is my writing, and though I’ve found a million and one reasons not to write, and to withhold my writing from others, I’m seeing the value of allowing it the opportunity to be seen. And so here we are…. On the precipice of something new for myself: being seen.
